UIC Instrument and Electrical Products (Pty) Ltd trading as UIC Control and Automation is an
Instrument, Electrical and Control project house, offering services in project management, detailed design and engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning. These services may be offered as a total
"Turn-Key" package or any specific component of services undertaken, as the client should require.
UIC Control & Automation has experience, and offers these services, in most industry
sectors including Chemical, Food and Beverages, Mining, Manufacturing, Pulp and Paper and Sugar with extensive experience in the Petroleum industry.
UIC Control & Automation operates out of its Head Office and various site offices, where
project work is undertaken. UIC Control & Automation has its head office situated at UIC Group Premises at 152 Voortrekker Street Durban, where in addition to Administration, Accounting and Procurement
functions, UIC’s Engineering Department is situated, together with 600m2 Warehouse facility to accommodate the storage of Construction tools, equipment and materials and where equipment can be assembled,
staged and tested.
UIC Control & Automation resources all its projects from the holding company UIC Group
Services operations. UIC Group Services has a strong financial standing with good cash flow and an excellent relationship with all suppliers, and UIC Control and Automation are able to execute large projects
with corporate clients, without the requirement of any external financial assistance.
All labour resources are resourced and procured from UIC Group Services as and when required
across the project cycle.
All Tools, Equipment, Vehicles and other assets are resourced and procured from UIC Group
Services as and when required across the project cycle. UIC has a vast base of tools, specialized installation equipment, calibration equipment, vehicles, site huts etc. all well maintained and calibrated which are
available to resource projects across the group.
